Awesome

This is the best app coach so far! I highly recommend it

Fantastic running app!

Best in class. Very professional training apps & easy to use. Only glitch: set it up on miles and it keeps switching to kms.

Easy to use

One minute to setup and adjust, ready for my half plan!

Simplicity at its best

After trying several apps for the past year, I concluded Gipis is the best. 1. The GPS tracker is the most accurate (closest to official times at events). Some had me running almost a min/km faster. 2. I’m no coach, but the training program makes a lot of sense, and it works! just resist the urge to go faster during slower runs. 3. It runs great on my Iphone 4S, because it doesn’t try to add a bunch of (mostly unneeded) features like other apps 4. If you really have to see your run on a map, the website has that and other diagnostics. I suggest the developers refrain from adding childish features (like funny badges, social media links etc.) and stick to basics and make it perfectly functional on a broad range of platforms. I would love to be able to pair this app with an HR monitor.

Measurements wont save

The app wont save imperial/metric and needs to be adjusted every time you use the app. Even when adjusted on the website as well. If that was fixed the app would be perfect.

Run run:))

I like run, ı always use to gipis. This is app wonderful.

Perfect app!

The best app for running I have ever tried. Thank you, guys!

I like it

The Best! It was what I looking for.

Love/Hate relationship

Ill start with the bad... 1: the voice cues arent really fixed... Sure you can hear them but barely. The cues used to mute the music and give you the cue and then the music returned. Now it just gives the cue with the music and I cant hear it over my music. I run with without headphones so I can hear cars around me... Mite the music again please! 2: Runkeeper tracks my pace perfectly... This app takes 15-30 seconds and sometimes longer to track my time... Especially on an interval day. The gps somehow needs fixing. Reasons I love this app: 1. It has interval training!! I love this feature. 2. The voice cues are great so youre not constantly trying to watch your phone. 3. I do think it gets you ready for run. I trained for my first half with the app and it got me into perfect condition to reach my goal.

Great training plans - bad interface

Theyve done such a great job making the intelligent training plans, its sad that it does not have a descent interface. Tip for new users - if you want to add friends, do it before you have workout. Your workouts will bury the ability to add them. Seriously. I could go on.

Cant even sign up

Had an account but cant log on or recover the password. Tried with a different email, cant even sign up.

Outstanding. Helped me obtain a Boston qualifying time

This app is great for the plan that it provides. With a nice build up and then ample speed work in the main phase allows you to tap into some places you may have not gone before. The way it slowly increases pace, has a nice ramp up to avoid injury and lays out the steelwork second for second was huge for me. I ran a 2:59:35 marathon in Eugene and came in 64th out of around 2,500. 13th in my age group. I will continue using Gipis to achieve my goal of running a 2:45 marathon in 2017

Justo what I needed!

Easy to use, accurate and its free!

Confusing

The app seemed like a good idea, but when I tried it out it was horrible. The pace is very slow, and it requires that you always allow it to use your location even when the app is not being used. It tried to measure my pace as I was running to set a good pace, it the numbers were literally all over the place and the app kept saying faster slower faster slower even though my pace had not changed. I did not like this app at all.

BEST training app!! Needs iOS 10 update

Dropping down to 2 stars because GPS didnt work on my last run. Huge problem for a running app. Hope its fixed soon, but I see the last update was done 2 years ago so .... is there no longer support for this app? Love the training plans! From the setup screens it let me tell it my latest 5k time, what my goal was (get faster!) and how intense I wanted to train (easy, mod, hard). I tried interval training plan by Endomondo, and it was not tailored to my abilities and I always failed to complete. Very discouraging. With Gipis the workouts are tough but do-able, and I chose the hard plan. Im 5 weeks in and doing great. I wish they would add support for heart rate monitors and allow you to customize the screen, or at least put a countdown of total time or distance, not just current interval.

Good App

I like this app and use it exclusively however there are a few glitches that are annoying. Whenever I set a new goal it automatically starts me a day behind, for instance, if I wanted to start my training today, it would say that I missed yesterday. I also feel that on interval days it should earn you when your half way. Likewise the app should also earn you when you have 5 minutes left. I would also like to see improvements in calibration. Other than those issues I enjoy the app and like how I can adjust from easy to recommended to difficult.

Great App!

This is my first ever review of an app. I have to give credit to the creators/developers of this app. I just completed my second half marathon right on target with my training plan - on to my first full marathon! Please keep developing this app but dont lose the user-friendly features and simple plan layout. I see other users have suggested options like setting up a separate run that isnt part of the plan, that would be great. I need to start linking this to RunKeeper, but I actually stopped using RunKeeper due to too many bells and whistles - Ads, Competitions, Notifications, etc. Any future plans to link with FitBit?

Buggy. Cant install. Patronizing and insulting

Dont bother

Best app for runners

This app changes my way to run. Easy to use and very handily.

Best of its kind!

Ive tried several running companion programs. Gipis is, by far, the best one. With gps monitoring and historical data, he can easily prepare you for your next challenge, 5k to marathon.
